Harper is a classic chunky raglan sweater with a twist. The sweater features a beautiful stripe pattern knitted in reverse stockinette with panels in stockinette stitches. The design is oversized with a large and voluminous turtleneck and wide sleeves.
Harper is knitted top-down, starting with back-and-forth knitting to shape the neckline, while increases are made at the 4 raglan markers. Once the neckline is shaped, the work is joined, and knitting continues in the round in both knit and purl stitches. At the armholes the work is divided into body and sleeves. First, the body is knitted, finishing with a ribbed edge. Then, the sleeves are knitted, also finishing with a ribbed edge. Finally, the turtleneck is knitted at the neckline.
