SILK MOHAIR
Our super soft hand-dyed “Silk Mohair” contains 72% kid mohair and 28% silk and has a yardage of 420 metres/50g.
Kid mohair is hair from the very first shearing of the mohair goat, which is the absolute finest and softest. The silk contributes shine and strength and takes the color absolutely fantastically.
“Silk Mohair” can be knitted together with another strand of yarn, but it can also easily be knitted alone or held double. “Silk Mohair” is excellent for scarves, shawls and clothing and much more.
“Silk Mohair” can be knitted on many different sized knitting needles. For example, knit a sweater with needles size 2.5 for a luxurious, beautiful, and fine result, or knit an airy and soft shawl with a lace pattern using needles size 5 mm.
