BULKY SHETLAND WOOL
We have chosen to carry this lovely Shetland wool both in undyed and in a few hand-dyed varieties. We find the four natural colors absolutely fantastic, and in addition, we have dyed some equally fantastic colors for you. The wool is minimally processed, has a lovely natural scent of sheep and is of course non-superwashed. The wool is grown and spun in England.
The yarn is single-stranded, but spun relatively loosely so that it does not tend to “pull” when knitted.
“Bulky Shetland wool” is excellent for thick, delicious sweaters as well as hats, scarves, mittens, blankets and much more. Furthermore, “Bulky Shetland wool” is also very suitable for knitted products that you subsequently want to felt.
We knit “Bulky Shetland wool” on knitting needles 8 -15 mm.
