ORGANIC PIMA COTTON

Our wonderfully soft Organic Pima Cotton contains 100% organic cotton and has a yardage of 220m/100g.

Pima cotton refers to the finest and longest cotton fibers. The long fibers mean the yarn requires less twisting, allowing it to retain its softness and shine. The Pima cotton is grown and spun in Peru.

Organic cotton is grown without the use of pesticides or other chemical sprays.

Organic Pima Cotton is incredibly soft – and it doesn’t become “hard” like other cotton qualities can.

This yarn can be used for a wide range of knitting projects including garments, accessories, children’s and baby knits, and much more.

We recommend using knitting needles size 4 – 6 mm.

NOTE: This yarn often contains excess dye, even though it is always thoroughly rinsed before sale. Some color bleeding may therefore occur. We recommend adding a small amount of vinegar to the water when washing, as this can help “set” the colors.

Dyed in “limited edition colors” – meaning each color is only available in a specified quantity and may not be restocked – SO IT’S EXTRA IMPORTANT TO BUY ENOUGH YARN FOR YOUR ENTIRE PROJECT.
