The Iris Sweater is beautiful, colorful, and filled with exciting multicolored patterns.
The sweater is knitted top-down with a round yoke.
The entire sweater features various vibrant patterns in multicolor knitting and small knitted bubbles.
It is worked in the round, starting at the neck. First, the ribbing is knitted, followed by short rows to shape the neckline before beginning the pattern knitting.
All the patterns on the Iris Sweater are knitted following charts, with continuous increases on the yoke down to the armholes. At this point, the work is divided into the body and sleeves, which are knitted separately.
The body is also worked in multicolored pattern knitting and finished with ribbing, including short rows for extra length at the back.
The sleeves are knitted straight down in pattern knitting. Before finishing the sleeves with ribbing, the stitch count is reduced to create a balloon effect.
Sizes: A (B) C – Chest circumference: 100 (114) 129 cm – Length: 55 (55) 55 cm
Knitting needles: Circular needle 7 mm + Circular needle 6 mm for ribbing.
Gauge: 14 stitches x 16 rows in stockinette stitch = 10 x 10 cm.
